Square-Enix straparla

Quindi secondo Shinji Hashimoto noi nintendari dovremmo guardare con molto interesse l'evento Square previsto a Maggio. Il caro Shinji ci ha dato anche qualche data, come Mario galaxy a ottobre, Smash bros a dicembre, Dragon Quest IX a novembre, FF:crystal Chronicles in Agosto e altre date e "ews" sui giochi in sviluppo per piattaforma Nitnendo.

Escape from Bug Island
Ecco nuovi screen per il feticcio di Takin' names, un gioco che si preannuncia talmente brutto e insensato da diventare un pezzo irrinunciabile. Anche il distributore conscio delle potenzialità del gioco ha rivisto il titolo e la cover nel mercato occidentale per rispettare i canoni del trash. A quando il film?

Vendite software in Giappone, Nintendo torna in testa!
I dati di vendita della settimana da 9 al 16 aprile parlano chiaro: il Giappone è di Nintendo al momento.
Dopo la settimana di "riposo" in cui un paio di titoli per PSP e PS2 hanno guadagnato la vetta della classifica in quanto a vendite, questa settimana Nintendo piazza con disinvoltura due new entry ai primi due posti, Phoenix Whrigt 4 e Mario VS Donkey 2 e non contenta si assicura i primi SETTE. Alla concorrenza solo briciole.

Intervista RE4 Wii e Umbrella Chronicles
Ecco a voi un nuovo, piccolo, contributo video dal Capcom Day.
Due i punti salienti:
- Resident Evil 4 avrà i contenuti della versione PS2 ma con la grafica del Wii (leggasi GCube, ma SOLO in questo caso).
- Umbrella Chronicles avrà una trama corposa che svelerà vita, morte e miracoli dell'inimitabile Umbrella Corporation.
Insomma, non ci sono grosse novità, ma è un'ottima scusa per riguardarsi alcune sequenze video dei due survival horror in arrivo su Wii.

NP: Particularly since E3, many publishers and developers have shifted their resources to increase support for the DS and Wii. You’ve already released a couple of Wii titles, and also developed Mario Party 8, which will be published by Nintendo next month, so you’ve clearly been working with the console on multiple projects for quite some time. Does Hudson seem to have more of a focus on Wii than other platforms, or is support spread pretty evenly across the competitors?
Lee: Yes, we have been on board the Wii and DS bandwagon right from the start. We loved these systems because they shifted focus away from the typical gaming experience and introduced new ways of having fun. You’ll see us continue to support both these platforms over the next many years, more than most other platforms. Some of the new games we have in development are pretty darn cool. Wish I could talk about them!

Gamebuzz.ca, un negozio di Montreal in Canada, si e' messo a vendere Pokemon il 18 Aprile. Ecco alcune foto a conferma di quanto stiamo dicendo. Come se non bastasse, alcuni di noi vivono a Montreal e a soli 200 metri di distanza dal negozio in questione. Aggiorneremo presto con un filmato.
